London Fashion Week, Oxford Street & The 55 Bus

Hello!
As you may or may not know, it was London Fashion Week this February! I was so excited because obviously there's a lot to see, not just talking about new designs and shows, but getting to explore the fashion world in London! Even though I've lived in London for quite a while now I still haven't managed to properly 'explore' the city. I've been with family before but what I mean is I haven't explored the places that I want to see. When you're with family, it's always like 'hey let's visit here, hey let's visit there, hey we're going here' and all, and being the little one back then I couldn't always be left on my own to go to places so I had to go where everybody else was going - not that I didn't like it, I enjoyed every single minute of it.
So anyways, on February 18 - the last day of fashion week - I was so eager to go to Central and go to where the shows would be held... I haven't been to fashion week before so it was my first time. And of course I did all my research: where the shows are; who would be there; venues; parties; times; models and everything else in the details. So I asked Maicca from Maicca's World to come along and I was so excited when she said yes! Then afterwards her sister Francezca wanted to come so she did. Then we invited along our other friend Ayse and she came along too. So we ended up with four brilliantly mature but exciting teenage girls roaming around Hackney then taking the 55 bus to Oxford Street. Not too shabby.
So when we got there we were like 'what. woah. wow.' because the stop was literally in Oxford Street - where there are some very exclusive stores form high street to designer. And it was cool! Im really interested in fashion, so I was freaking out and wanted to go to all the stores but couldn't because there would never be enough time to do that in one day, considering we left out houses at around 3pm. So we first went to Topshop where there were models posing on the windows so we were intrigued. We went in, looked around and even got a free magazine and left. Did I mention we were a tad bit in a rush as we didn't really know where the proper fashion week venue was, but obviously there isn't just one show. I was looking forward to seeing Fashion East by Topshop but I found out the was in Regent's Park. And it was a long way away. Not really long just like a 20 minute bus ride or 2 minute ride on the underground but we didn't go... So we decided on just going round and it was such a good idea because it led us to Primark where everything is almost affordable on a budget like ours so we went hauling! I spent so much time contemplating on what to get like I always do, so I opted for a cute pastel pink wrap headband with little flowers and a blush brush, because you can never have enough blush brushes, and it seemed handy because it was small and could pass for a mini travel blush brush or a compact blush brush. Me and Ayse ended up getting the same headband - I like her taste in headbands. Then we left and strolled though the beautiful street and walked past a magazine rack that had London Fashion Week all over it so I had to get one - you know my obsession with fashion magazines. And another store that we went to was MUJI! That store is beautiful. I mean, I was kinda shocked that they didn't know about it so I was so excited to show them around. I mean, the store has amazing quality notebooks for £1 tops. We were like 'is this heaven?!' okay Im exaggerating. But I love that store so much it could even beat Paperchase on the top of my list of amazing stationery stores. After we've explored the whole place, I ended up buying one of the amazing notbooks, obviously. Then Ayse got hungry so we ate our 'dinner' at KFC. So classy. But a girl's gotta eat, right? Then it was so dark and after a few phone calls from my dad, we decided to head home.

It was a pretty cool day and we all decided that it's gonna happen again. Oh yeah. It will. And we're definitely going shopping! Also, I found out that there's another fashion week in September. I was so relieved because even if I didn't get a chance to see some shows, I am definitely going there maybe with my sisters this time when they come home from uni! Also, they're over 18 so that could be useful somehow, I've read some articles.

Orthodontical Goodies

Hey everyone!
So I got braces. Yeah. It's kinda weird and all and im not even gonna start talking about the TIGHTNESS and the PAIN so whatever. And since the braces dont really hurt much (hahah) I think these goodies 'relieve' the weirdness and all, so it should soothe me for quite a while. Also, some of my friends who've previously had braces said that they weren't able to eat properly and solid foods for two weeks. But right after I got them, I ATE PIZZA. And I wasn't even mad. A girl's gotta eat when she's hungry, right? So even though I couldn't quite properly eat the amazingly huge pizza that covered the whole paper plate in Costco, I still managed to scoff it down with a knife and fork, looking like a boss lady :)

So first of all, the 'goodie bag' was big. At least that's what I thought. The bag was big but as we all know all contents dont always fill bag so I was kinda eh all about it. But I was still excited though, even though the whole thing cost £25 FREAKING POUNDS. Yeah, my mama had to get  because it was 'dental hygiene' and 'orthodontically recommended' so.
First thing I picked up was a mouthwash. Not just any mouthwash but a Colgate FluoriGard - Fluoride Rinse. Oh yeah, that thing is super-effective. But really, it's really helpful, I could even bring it to school and rinse my mouth after lunch... seriously considering it. Next is a Wisdom Inter-Space toothbrush - or should I say exciting toothbrush. It basically removes plaque in places where you have plaque. Then we have a regular toothbrush, but it's special because it has inverted teeth that are v-shaped and can seriously do some very effective cleaning on your teeth, and it has a nice, comforting grip on the handle. That is from Oral-B. Then we have mini toothbrush/floss kind of things - Colgate Gum Health Orthodontical Toothbrushes, those mini things that help when you want to get rid of those tiny pests lurking around your teeth, that damn spinach. Next we have some very cool purple tablets, but not to be swallowed. It checks your teeth for plaque too. Then we have the most interesting product (at least I think it is) GC Tooth Mousse. Yes. Mousse for the teeth. There are some brilliantly enthused dental doctors in the world. I think it's great but the instructions are so complicated I didn't want to use it so I'm gonna use it with 'professional' help. Lastly we got some mini toothpastes (did it hurt to get the full-sized tubes, come on, my mama paid £25 for this) from Colgate and Oral-B. And of course, you gotta have some dental wax so there's some in a really cool case!

That is it from the goodie bag! So far it's been two days and it's okay, it's not too bad but it hurts so much in the night, I do not know why. But on the bright side, I won't regret having them :)

Oh books, books, books

Hey everyone!

I am back with a new and seriously interesting post, absolutely no sarcasm intended at all. Well that's if you take books seriously, in which case you'd take this post seriously.
So what I have here is a 'collection' of books which are old and new, borrowed, purchased or given - all wonderfully read or to-be-read.
So first and foremost is obviously Thu Hunger Games! Oh yeah! Best book ever, hands down. It's actually a very seriously, deeply, amazing book with a huge impact on me and I love it. It's absolutely to die for nothing else needs to be said. And I also did get with the whole trilogy, because duh.

Suzanne, I love you for making this story.
So the next book in my little collection, dare I say library because first I don't even have a shelf in my room, so I'm living on a cute desk stand the basically stands on my desk. The next book is Wonder. So I haven't finished the book YET, but so far that I've read, its really cool. Not so sure if everyone knows about this book but it's cool and you should read it.
Ah The Boy in the Stripes Pyjamas. Super emotional book, as I've heard, but again not even finished it so I'm sure to have a good read right after I've finished reading Let's Get Lost by Sarra Manning - good book that one.
Harry Potter! Book the first, I like to call it. You've obviously got to have Harry Potter in your little book collection. Yer A Wizard, Harry.
The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. No need for any explanations. This books is amazing, just like the movie.
The Catcher in the Rye! They call it a classic so I'm gonna stick with that. I haven't read it, but I have read the first two pages so far... so good.
One of the most mentioned books in the world of books that everyone reads (or just talks about) is The Fault In Our Stars. So excited to read this book as I have heard/ seen it so many times everywhere, so it's pretty much on demand. I think the cover is so intriguing that whenever you see it you instantly know that it's going to be the fault in our stars. Or whenever someone mentions the book you'll instantly think of the cover. It's very good, this one.
And lastly in my little collection: Love & Misadventure. This one I haven't really  heard of, but it's widely known so I don't know what I'm probably missing out on in that part, but hopefully not too much!
So that concludes it guys, my little book collection that rests on my desk on my cute desk stand. These books have inspired me so much that I really DO love reading and it's going to be a passion (it's always been) There are some books that I really want to get and read like the Divergent trilogy or Brave New World and so many more!
